Devotions with Da'dra

Good morning! I've got another devotion with Da'dra! I'll try to be brief because I'm running behind this am. So, here we go!

Ok, I'm not sure what to do with my 9-year-old. Lololol He's hilarious. He came to me a few weeks ago and said, "Mom, I need to talk to you. God told me to tell you that I want to be on TV." While I wanted to fall over in laughter, I knew I had to treat this moment seriously because he was VERY serious. (I laughed later lolol).

Every day since then, he asks me to find out how he can get on TV, did anyone call yet, he researched behind the scenes footage of kid shows on Youtube to see how they taped them, and he has written down his desires in school writing assignments.

This boy is relentless! He gets up every day expecting some information to come through regarding his TV show. He even had prayer with a minister. lol ok, She asked him if he believed in God. He said, "Yes." She asked if he believed in the power of prayer. He said, "Yes." Then, she asked if he believed that God would answer his prayer. His reply to this question was, "Of course!" Y'all, I tried not to laugh because the tone of his voice was still sweet, but almost like he was thinking, 'Of course I believe God will answer me. That's why we're praying about it."  lolol

Listen, he keeps this vision before him, he speaks about it every day...ALL DAY and he gets up with the expectation that it will happen.

What's your vision? What's your dream? Have you written it down? Do you wake up every day with the expectation that God is going to bring it to pass?

Now, I realize this passage of scripture is about what's coming in the end times, but I'm extracting the principles of writing it down, expecting and waiting. It says...

Habakkuk 2:2-3

And the Lord answered me:

2 Then the Lord answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, But in the end, it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

My encouragement today is keeping the vision before you. Don't let temporary blindness due to the pressures of life cause you to lose sight of what God placed in your heart. I know the funding fell through, I know things didn't go as planned, I know someone follows through on their promises to you. Nevertheless, wait for it! It will come to pass. Don't be weary in well doing. In DUE season you will reap if you don't faint.

Get your hope back today. Get your joy back today. That will bring your strength back and you can begin to believe again. There is an appointed time and though it had been a long time coming, it WILL come to pass!

I'll stop now because I could keep going. Lolol Be like my son and most relentless in your belief. Be steadfast in your faith and be focused on your vision. Your actions with moving you toward what you focus on. And, God will be your help and your guide. Ok, I'm stopping...for real this time. Lolol

I love ya! Have a blessed, prosperous and productive day!!
